About this work

The hasty drinker raising this jug to his lips without thinking is in for a surprise: the neck is perforated. Thus the contents would spill all over him. It is, however, actually possible to drink from it. Opposite the handle is a little spout, and the liquid is channelled through the hollow handle and rim of the jug. If the drinker holds the vessel upright and sips carefully, no mishaps will occur.
