About this work

Cast-iron stove plate, divided into two zones. The upper zone depicts the Wedding at Cana. Centrally, the long, set table is visible, with guests seated. At the center of the table sits the bride with a crown on her head and a wreath and canopy above her. On the far left sits Jesus. In the foreground, one of the servants fills the six jars. Below the scene is a band with text. The lower zone has not been preserved. Marked with a master's mark.
