About this work

Veil of natural-colored appliqué lace, bobbin lace applied on machine-made tulle. A rectangular model with a ground that for a large part is only scattered with moresques. The scallops along the bottom edge are alternately of flat arches and round c-volutes; from the latter rise large s-shaped flower branches, hanging to the right. Between the s-shaped twigs two smaller flower branches placed one above the other are visible.
