About this work

Handkerchief of linen batiste with a border of natural-colored bobbin lace: Lille lace. Square model with rounded linen batiste clothlet in the center. The lace has a symmetrical pattern of coral-shaped branches forming rocailles or cartouches with different grounds including tulle ground, rose ground and in the middle of the sides a mesh filling of small motifs in linen stitch worked into a rose ground.
