About this work
On a coarse lattice ground (a Mechlin ground or ice ground) stands a symmetrical pattern of two turned, hanging vines, which, in pairs, now stand above a low flowerpot, then again touch the straight outer edge and there enclose a lattice medallion. On the inside stand two types of halved cross flowers. Both the vines and the cross flowers surround some parts filled with lattice work. Mechlin lace.
