About this work

Handkerchief of black bobbin lace: Chantilly lace. Around a cross-shaped white batiste handkerchief runs a wide border of black lace. The symmetrical ornament consists of wide bands, which are studded with cut-out stars and which are laid in hollow and convex semicircular and straight lines. In the middle of the border lie left-directed tassels, among others consisting of a cup flower and two daisies.
