About this work

On a square batiste center piece is a crowned W in plumetis embroidery. Around runs a strip of lace with square meshes, on which a row of horns of plenty. On the even sides the horns are directed to the right, on the odd sides to the left. The shells are alternately formed by a godron border and three rosettes, which emerge from the horns. Valenciennes lace.
