About this work
On a trellis ground, a Mechelen ground (also called ice ground), stand two symmetrical, turned away and obliquely hanging branches, whose side branches with leaf and flower cut through an oval filled with meshwork. In the slightly scalloped border smaller ovals. Against the straight inner side stand halved cross-flowers and rosettes. Mechelen lace.
