About this work

On the lattice ground, a Mechelen ground (also called ice ground), stand two symmetrical, facing and obliquely hanging branches, the side branches with leaf and flower intersecting an oval filled with meshwork. In the faintly scalloped border smaller ovals. Against the straight inner side stand halved cross-flowers and rosettes. Mechelen lace.
