Strip of bobbin lace with cup flowers and feathered leaves

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: Valenciennes lace. The repeating pattern consists of a diagonally placed and mirrored s-shaped feathered leaf. Hanging beneath the leaf is a cluster flower with seven rosette flowers in ovals. Next to the leaf are two cup-shaped flowers facing each other, with several smaller flowers beneath them and a plume-shaped leaf lying along the underside of the strip. The motifs are made in linen stitch with openwork edges and cutouts. The motifs are connected by a fine round Valenciennes ground. The top edge of the strip is finished straight. The regular scalloped edge forms around the pattern and is finished with picots.
