About this work

Strip of natural-colored mixed lace: mezzo punto. On a mesh ground (needle lace) stands a wide, running vine with left and right spirals, to which many branches with volutes and very large palmette flowers at the tops. A cutwork bow edge serves as a finish along the straight outer side. The strip is used or intended for a superplie.
