About this work

Scarf of natural-coloured mixed lace: Milanese bobbin lace. Symmetrical, hanging rectangles, showing a coarse mesh ground (needle lace), upon which stiff double branches grow, forming various medallions along the length axis. The very stiff flowers are five- or three-lobed. The four scalloped sides are formed by a part of the inner pattern.
