Fragment of a monstrance

About this work
The fragment consists of two cylindrical mounts, set between four vertical connecting pieces (buttresses), placed on a domed lid, which is set in a crenellated edge, against which on the front and back two eyes are attached, through which a pin can be inserted. The fragment distinguishes itself by this attachment and by the four instead of two vertical connecting pieces from comparable parts of the other monstrances discussed here.
