Fireback with a representation of Charity

Cast-iron fireplace plate with a semicircular top. Centrally the personification of Charity, a standing woman with a child in her arms. Next to her on the ground stand three more children. The top of the scene is closed with clouds. The whole is framed with a border decorated with a pearl border and a lion's head with festoons on both sides. The rest of the border is decorated with grapes and other fruits. The top is crowned with a crown with a dolphin on both sides.
