Hearth plate with the Dutch Maiden and Dutch Lion in the Dutch Garden

About this work
Cast-iron fireplace plate with a rounded top. In the center stand the Dutch Lion and the Dutch Maiden in the enclosed Dutch Garden, which has an access gate diagonally in the front. Directly above them the inscription PRO PATRIA. The whole is framed by an ornamental band with a pearl band and a border with symmetrical leaf scrolls. The whole is topped with three pomegranates, with a climbing dolphin on each side.
