Jug with a medallion and stylized foliate ornamentation

Stoneware jug on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and a narrow neck with a pinched spout. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Several profiles on the foot and neck. Partially covered with cobalt blue and manganese purple. On the front of the body a printed and applied relief medallion with flowers and petal-shaped compartments. An empty medallion around the handle. The sides feature a vertical line of lion heads with a band of triangles with a flower on either side. A rosette on the neck. Westerwald.
