Jug with monkey heads and achorns

Jug (trick jug) of stoneware on a high foot with a globular body and an openwork neck with a short spout just below the rim. The C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. At the bottom of the jug there is a hole on the inside, through which the liquid can flow via a tube in the wall, handle and rim out through the spout. Partially covered with cobalt blue. On the body three medallions with pointed leaf motifs; in the center an ape's head. Between the medallions always two acorns. Westerwald.
