About this work
In the flat of the dish, where the central boss is visible in the middle, stamped with die-stamps: a rosette with six leaves, surrounded by a motif repeated five times of a bear that has climbed a trunk, with a leaf on a stem on either side, five times alternating with a round, convex leaf form. Along the rim, two parallel rings are grooved. The hanging ring at the back was added at a later time.
