Plate with Renaissance vases

In the flat of the bowl, where the center point is visible in the middle, stamped with die-forms: a Renaissance vase with lid decorated with knobs, alternating with a stylized vegetal ornament (both repeated four times), a border of scrolling work on a hatched background, incorporating two leaves and a flower (repeated more than eight times), as well as the almost illegible inscription GOTT SEI MIT UNS (repeated a few times). In the wall of the bowl, fish bladders are chased. The rim, wrapped around an iron wire, was shortened at a later date, so that it is now decorated with a single row of stamped leaf ornament instead of two. The hanging ring at the back and the hole in the rim were added later.
