About this work

Coverlet of sewn-together squares of needle lace, bobbin lace, and embroidered linen. Four filet lace squares have a coat of arms, namely twice the coat of arms of the Pieck family and twice the coat of arms of the Balveren family. The four corners have linen squares with the same coats of arms. One of the squares also has the coat of arms of the Van de Poll family, under which the year 1635.
