About this work

Armchair, upholstered, of white-painted beechwood, resting on conical fluted legs with cannelures. The seat rails bear a scale ornament. The vase-shaped armrest supports, with swirled cannelures and leaf ornamentation at the bottom, support the armrests ending in squares with cannelures and rosettes on top. They rise to the stiles of the back frame, in the form of free-standing fluted Tuscan colonnettes crowned with vases. The slightly curved top rail has rounded corners; arch with knorren.
