Linen damask napkin with the capture of Grave by stadtholder William III. Central field: The symmetrical pattern shows, from bottom to top, the following scenes: 1 City view with the inscription D'GRAEF and the subtitle: DE BORCHERS VAN GRAEF DANCKEN SYN HOOCHEYT VAN HVN VERLOSSINGHE. 2 Standing male figure turned to the right, before him a kneeling man turned to the left with a servant behind him. 3 Horseman at a castle. 4 Coat of arms of England with the motto LANG LEEFT ONSEN VICTORIUESE PRINCE VAN ORANGE; below, an angel with a trumpet. Woven in the year 1674. Standing and lying borders: Floral and fruit garlands.
