About this work

Strip of natural-coloured application lace: batiste applied on machine-made tulle ground. The repeating pattern consists of twisting sparse branches with different kinds of small flowers and a few small leaves. Along the underside a series of small motifs. The top side of the strip is finished straight, but damaged. The shallow scalloped edge along the underside is finished with picots.
