About this work

Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace: stropkant. The repeating pattern consists of two parallel running zigzag bands with a center line of linked fine diamonds made in form stitch. A strop lattice ground is applied to the upper and lower sides of the zigzag bands and a twisted cross-stitch ground is applied between the zigzag bands. Pointed ovals are in the grounds. The upper and lower sides of the strip are finished straight.
