About this work

Strip of black and silver bobbin lace: strap lace. The repeating and geometric pattern consists of a row of diamonds above a scalloped edge of fans. The diamonds are connected at the top by a closed pin ground with a row of mosses in buttonhole stitch. Silver thread is used in the center of the diamonds and in the fan-shaped shells. The top edge of the strip is straight finished.
