About this work
Strip of natural-colored bobbin lace, Valenciennes lace. Running along the bottom edge of the strip is a continuous band in linen stitch, which forms the shallow regular shells. Above that the strip consists of a mesh ground, a diamond-shaped Valenciennes ground. The top edge of the strip is finished straight. The arches along the bottom edge are finished with picots.
