About this work

Small stoneware jug on a high foot with an egg-shaped body and narrow neck. The (broken) C-shaped handle is attached to the neck and shoulder. Profiles on the neck and foot. Partially covered in cobalt blue. The body is divided into wide and narrow compartments, separated by a profile. Stamped scrollwork in the wide compartments. The shoulder with the same decoration, only here the wide compartments are filled with incision. Raeren/Westerwald.
