Three labourers

Three men standing outdoors on uneven ground. The man on the left wears a knee-length hip-cloth (veshti, lungi), double-folded and tucked at the waist. He has his arms folded and holds a felt hat (toppiya) before his bare torso with both hands. He has short wavy hair and no beard. The central man is most prominently drawn, facing front with his right hand on his hip. He also wears a knee-length, double-folded hip-cloth tucked at the waist, over an open long shirt (kamisaya) with torn sleeves. He wears a damaged felt hat (toppiya) with a hole at the top, too large for his head and hanging over his ears. The man on the right wears a similar knee-length hip-cloth, tucked, and a worn shirt; the visible left sleeve hangs completely torn off. His bald head is uncovered.
