Two Muslim men

On a slope in the open air, two men are depicted. They are likely Muslims, then called Moors. The standing man on the left wears a long wide shirt down to the knees, with a cloth tied at the waist. His lower legs and feet are bare, but the legs of knee-breeches are visible under the shirt. A wide draped shawl hangs over his shoulders, also covering his arms and hands. On his head a turban-like twisted cloth. The man has short hair, a long beard and a mustache. The sitting man on the right is possibly the same person, posing again. He squats on the ground with spread knees. He wears the same clothes – here the long sleeves of the shirt are visible – and the same headgear, same short hair, same mustache and beard.
