About this work
A standing Asian or Eurasian woman carries a child on her left hip. The woman wears a long wrap skirt (redda) and a Portuguese blouse with a V-neck and long sleeves (hatte). Around her back and shoulders lies a long loose cloth with a floral pattern; her hair appears to be short-cropped. The child has short hair and is wrapped in a cloth. Page 58 from a sketchbook with 117 pages.
