About this work
Military pistol with belt hook. The lock is engraved with foliage and a signature. The barrel is divided by three rings, one around the breech; marked at the back with the coat of arms of Utrecht and underneath with a C. The stock is hardly carved. The iron furniture consists of two ramrod pipes with slits between the rings, a screwplate in the shape of a stretched S with a belt hook over it, and a butt cap engraved with foliage and borders; the ramrod is fitted with an iron cap.
