Rear-loading flintlock pistol

Flintlock pistol or cavalry pistol; part of a pair. The lock is chased and engraved with foliage, a bird and a signature decorated with vines. The barrel can be partially unscrewed and is engraved on top with foliage and marked at the bottom with the letters CMLI, a crowned rose, the letter L and the signature LOVROV; the muzzle has the shape of a tulip like a cannon and has a collar. The butt cap is fitted with gilded copper, the rest of the pistol with iron and consists of a forked trigger guard with three iron studs and a butt cap with a gilded copper cap that gives a pierced appearance.
