About this work

A half longitudinal cut-pointed 23 cm shell, in a wooden crate. The shell is 67.3 cm long and has a caliber of 227 mm. It has two rings of pressed driving bands for a rifled barrel with six rifling grooves and is hollow; a fuze hole in the nose. Shallow holes for the ammunition cock are attached at the top.
