Three Models of a Gunlock (Percussion)

Wooden models of a percussion lock, designs for NG-MC-707, NG-MC-708, and NG-MC-710. In principle, they are identical; the difference lies in the shape of the lock plate, which varies according to the artillery for which the lock is intended. The lock plate must be mounted on the right side against the lock elevation with two bolts running through it, and two screws in the cock. The hammer rotates at a right angle to the barrel. The head of the hammer has a slot for the flame from the touchhole when fired. A hole for the lanyard is provided in the stock, and a disc in the lock plate guides the cord backwards. Scale 1:1.
