Model of a Gunlock (Percussion)

Wooden model of percussion locks, designs for NG-MC-707, NG-MC-708, and NG-MC-710. In principle, they are identical; the difference lies in the shape of the lock plate, which varies according to the artillery for which the lock is intended. The lock plate must be mounted on the right side against the lock elevation with two bolts running through it, and two screws in the cascabel. The hammer rotates at a right angle to the barrel. The head of the hammer has a groove for the flame from the touchhole when fired. In the stock, a hole for the lanyard is provided, and in the lock plate, a disc through which the rope is led backward. Scale 1:1.
