About this work

Construction model of a stern under construction on a shipyard, on a baseboard. It is a frame model with ribs on stacking blocks. Twisted stern with four transoms and eight short stern posts between the upper two transoms, of which six are missing. No wale, stern, or side galleries. The model shows three frames of erection, all stem frames with the short stem pieces missing, and floating cant frames. Four braces and the lifting posts for the taffrail are found; two supports and the lifting posts stand on flat oval bases. On the sides of the baseboard, ten stoppers.
