About this work
Headgear of coarse fabric, black leather base, brim, flap. At the back of the body: yellow metal buckle, to which a leather label with no. 9 is attached. At the front, remnants of gilded cast two crossed cannons, reinforced with iron wire (imitation). On the top front of the body, a black leather loop. In the front of the body, two holes (for attaching a yellow metal sun). On the left and right of the body, a leather-bordered hole (for attaching yellow metal rosettes and matching storm bands). Lining: base with 4235 D (=weapon number). Leather and fabric sweatband.
