Chart of the Gulf of Paria with the mouth of the Orinoco River and an inset map of Tobago. With two compass roses, North lying to the right. In the upper left an ape near the title and the publisher's address. In the lower right Neptune with trident and crown on a sea-horse accompanied by two mermaids. Two men with bales of merchandise near the scale, shown in German, Spanish and English or French miles (scale: c. 1:1,100,000).
