Allegorical representation on the occasion of the marriage of Jacob Dircksz van Lennep and Susanna Catharina de Wolff. The marriage god Hymen and Amor at the couple's wedding bed. To the right, the river god of the IJ and to the left, the water nymph of the Amstel. Above the representation, fabrics, a spinning wheel, and the motto: Ne Timeas et Casta Thorus Tua Numina Servat.
