About this work

Landscape with Paris with his shepherd's staff and the golden apple of Eris. In the frame an inscription in Latin referring to the role Paris played in the Judgment of Paris. He had to judge the three most beautiful goddesses of Olympus on their beauty and ultimately awarded the apple to Venus. Print from a series of six with Gods and Goddesses.
