About this work

Top left: a putto on a seahorse, wearing a helmet; top right: a putto with arrow and bow; bottom left: a putto with a torch; bottom right: a putto blowing a horn, holding a branch in his hand. Sheet from a series of flat decorations with grotesques, cartouches, ovals, mascarons, putti, and fantastic creatures. The series consists of three title pages, two text pages with the dedication and preface, and 60 sheets, divided into three books.
