Left: Patriarch Zebulun, the tenth son of Jacob. He is dressed as a fisherman. On the ground beside him an anchor. In the background the sea and a beach, a reference to the dwelling place of Zebulun. Right: Patriarch Issachar, the ninth son of Jacob. Beside him lies an ass, a reference to Issachar as a 'strong ass'. Below the representations a reference in Latin to the Biblical text.
