About this work
In the temple the angel Gabriel appears to the high priest Zacharias, telling him that he will have a son. Because Zacharias does not believe this, his speech is taken from him. Zacharias and Gabriel stand before the altar, believers present in the temple kneel down. Below the image an explanatory text in Latin. This print is part of an album.
