About this work
In the procession behind Queen Money follow Honor (Honor), Glory (Splendor) and Fame (Fama). Although positive, their attributes point to their transience. Honor holds flowers and a censer, Glory a sealed document, and Fame blows a trumpet. Between them four flatterers (Parasiti), who profit from others' wealth and success. Under the image a verse in Latin and a French and Dutch inscription in book type. This print is part of an album.
