About this work

Allegory of Venice. Minerva pays homage and presents gifts standing before the city maiden seated on her throne. Beside Venice a winged lion, behind her the two authors Zanetti. On the right in the background a part of the Doge's Palace (Palazzo Ducale) and the statue of the saint Theodorus, patron saint of Venice, on a column in St. Mark's Square. In the sky Fame.
