About this work
Two pages with three affixed and labeled samples (761-773) of individual decorative vignettes in gold-colored metal foil and green-colored paper. On the opposite left page, a table with handwritten corresponding specifications (in code) for each ornament. Part of the sample book donated by the Van Rijn ladies, presumably from a French manufacturer of luxury papers or its representative in the Netherlands, ca. 1830.
