About this work
On the left stands the laughing Aesopus, Bombario in harlequin costume, next to a group of monkeys eating cabbage (the victims of the wind trade). On the right, wolves hunt sheep. In the clouds Mercury, the Dutch Lion, and Father Time. In the caption a verse in four columns. Print 48 in the series Het Groote Tafereel der Dwaasheid with satirical prints on the Wind Trade or Share Trading of 1720.
