About this work
Under the command of Captain Abraham Scheerenberg, Orangist rioters are driven out of the town hall and from the Dam, November 9, 1747. In the occupied town hall, a demonstrator throws a rage-bolt out of the window, which is a mocking reference to the rod carried by the sheriff. In the center the New Church and to the right part of the Weigh House.
