Saint Phocas, Saint Theophilus, Saint Conon of Mandona, Saint Perpetua and Saint Felicity of Carthage (5-7 March)

Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left four people on a small island kneeling before a statue at the entrance of a small church, top right Saint Theophilus trampling a man before an altar, bottom left Saint Conon bound to a coach behind two horses, bottom right Saint Perpetua seeing in a vision a difficult-to-climb ladder to heaven. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are always printed on one sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, there are in total 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut in the third state into 12 small prints, and issued with a separate title page.
