Sheet with four oval scenes, each with inscription and date in Latin: top left Saint Stanislaus of Kraków being attacked by a king before an altar, top right the appearance of Archangel Michael on Monte Gargano in Apulia to a shepherd and a bishop, bottom left the chest with the mortal remains of Saint Nicholas of Myra on a boat on the water, bottom right Saint Gregory of Nazianze the Younger at his writing desk. This print is part of a series of prints depicting the saints and the Christian feast days of the year. Four scenes from one plate are always printed on one sheet. Including the corresponding title page and frontispiece, there are in total 124 plates (490 scenes). The three plates with the last 12 scenes (the moveable Christian feast days) were cut in the third state into 12 small prints, and issued with a separate title page.
